It was a special graduation, made more auspicious by the presence of Cambodian Prime Minister, His Excellency Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet. The graduating students from the classes of 2021, 2022 and 2023 on June 13, 2024, joined the ranks of over 80,000 Limkokwing alumni across 171 countries, all equipped with creative expertise to drive innovation across industries.

The Prime Minister in his address emphasised the pivotal role these students will play in helping Cambodia realise its national vision of becoming a prosperous nation by 2050. He said that with the knowledge acquired from studying at Limkokwing University, all graduates should further their studies in specialised skills to maximise their potential and evolve into digitally-equipped, globally-focused youth in their respective fields.

“This will enhance the benefits of digital transformation and aid in building Cambodia’s new model of economic growth centred on skills, technology, and innovation,” he added.

Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim, Chief Brand Officer of Limkokwing University, expressed immense gratitude to the Prime Minister for gracing the occasion. “It is such a huge honour to welcome you to our graduation ceremony. This is the most beautiful and humbling moment of my whole life,” she said. She extended a special welcome to the newly appointed Prime Minister, acknowledging his inspirational leadership and the legacy of his predecessor, Honourable Samdech Hun Sen. Dato’ Tiffanee highlighted Limkokwing’s 16-year journey in developing Cambodia’s creative capital through its world-class programmes.

Limkokwing University has been at the forefront of nurturing creative talent in Cambodia. Since its establishment in 2008, the university has enrolled over 6,000 students in various creative disciplines. It offers rare foreign qualifications up to the master’s level, some of which are unmatched in the ASEAN region.

Limkokwing graduates have been empowered with the skills and mindset to thrive in the creative industries, pushing boundaries and breaking new ground. The University’s focus on real-world applications and high-tech research has equipped graduates with a global mindset. Many have established themselves as reputable brand names, leading international companies, and embodying the university’s ethos of being “The Best.”

Beyond academic excellence, Limkokwing University instils a strong sense of community service in its students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, students and staff dedicated hundreds of hours to support hospitals, children, women, and underprivileged communities. This spirit of giving back is celebrated annually on October 22, Founder’s Day, through scholarships and support for medical frontliners, orphans, and underprivileged communities across all Limkokwing campuses.

As the graduates embark on their professional journeys, they carry the weight of high expectations and the potential to shape industries and drive positive change.
Limkokwing University’s 2024 graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone. It celebrated the achievements of its students while reaffirming the institution’s commitment to nurturing creative talent and contributing to Cambodia’s development through skills, technology, and innovation.
