Studying in a shopping complex, as other students would put it, didn’t matter to me because I finally found the university I had longed for especially looking at the small school that I was coming from. Not only did I find the best campus. I met the best lecturers, the best students I made friends with. I must say I was no longer homesick because I made a new family at Limkokwing. Becoming a university ambassador was an honour to me because I was representing both the university and my country, Botswana. In 2001, I was awarded the Young Achievers Award among the few selected students. I must deeply thank Tan Sri Dato’ Dr Limkokwing and the Limkokwing lecturers for the hard work and dedication they had given to international students. Let me stop here because I would write a book not only about my life at Limkokwing but also Malaysia as a whole and its beautiful people. By the way, I still have my baju kebaya, which I got from my beloved lecturers.
